A New Isekai with a Strategy Game Twist
Isekai Apocalypse Mynoghra: World Domination Starts with Civilization of Ruin (Japanese title: 異世界黙示録マイノグーラ~破滅の文明で始める世界征服~) is an upcoming TV anime based on the GC Novels light novel by Fehu Kazuno, illustrated by Jun. The series combines classic isekai elements with a rare twist: the protagonist is not a hero, but the ruler of an “evil” civilization—one built with strategy, patience, and diplomacy.
The first PV (linked below) showcases the anime’s dark tone, introducing the main characters, the ruined landscape of the fantasy world, and a soundtrack that hints at epic conflict. The series is animated by MAHO FILM and set to begin broadcasting in July 2025.

The Rise of an Evil Nation in a Fantasy World
The story follows Takuto Ira, a once terminally ill high school student and top player of the strategy fantasy game Eternal Nations. Upon dying, he finds himself reincarnated inside the game’s world—specifically as the god of his favorite (and most underused) faction: Mynoghra, a dark, ruinous civilization known for its heavy focus on internal development and weak military power.
His first companion in this new world is Atu, a powerful female “hero unit” who remembers their time in the game. With Atu at his side, Takuto decides to recreate the nation of Mynoghra, aiming to build a kingdom from the ground up—even if it means embracing a reputation of evil.
As the pair encounters elves, monsters, and political tensions, they must balance diplomacy with survival. Behind its fantasy battles lies a thoughtful narrative about leadership, manipulation, and finding purpose in a second life.
Main Characters and the Dark Appeal of Mynoghra
- Takuto Ira (voiced by Toshiki Kumagai): A calm, analytical protagonist who leads his nation with an unconventional sense of justice.
- Atu (voiced by Tomori Kusunoki): A devoted and powerful magical being who serves Takuto as both a general and confidante.
- Gear (voiced by Shinji Kawada): A hot-headed dark elf warrior with loyalty to Takuto.
- Mortar (voiced by Tomomichi Nishimura): A wise and strategic elder who provides balance to Gear’s impulsive nature.
The contrast between the nation’s “evil” reputation and its surprisingly cooperative, pacifist behavior is part of the series’ appeal. Fans of Overlord, Log Horizon, or That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime will likely find a familiar yet fresh take on isekai storytelling here.
