Do Androids Count as Exes??—originally a manga by Yakiniku Teishoku and serialized in Comic Yuri Hime (Ichijinsha)—is officially being adapted into a short-form TV anime. Produced by Wave Corporation’s anime label Deregyura, this marks the fourth title in the label’s line-up of unique, character-driven works.

The story follows Akane Tsuda, a career-focused OL (office lady) who, after one too many drinks and a bout of loneliness, ends up purchasing a romance-specific android named Nadeko.
