Celebrating the anniversaries of Mobile Fighter G Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, and After War Gundam X, this limited-time event features exclusive gifts and brand-new merchandise that fans won’t want to miss.
Gundam GWX 30th Anniversary Fair Launches at Animate
The “Gundam GWX 30th Anniversary Project Fair” commemorates the legacy of three beloved Gundam series from the 1990s: G Gundam (1994), Gundam Wing (1995), and Gundam X (1996). Held from April 12 to May 11, 2025, the event is part of a multi-year anniversary project celebrating these iconic non-Universal Century titles.
Earn Bromides Featuring Exclusive 90s-Inspired Art
During the fair, fans who spend or pre-order ¥1,100 (tax included) on eligible Gundam-related goods—including character merchandise, books, CDs, Blu-rays, or DVDs—will receive one random bromide (from a set of nine) featuring brand-new illustrations with retro 90s fashion flair. Note: The design cannot be chosen and applies only to physical edition purchases with deposit payment.
Featured Merchandise Includes G Gundam’s Famous “Shining Finger” Move
Alongside the bromides, Animate will sell exclusive new goods. Highlights include:
- Acrylic stands using the same retro-style character art
- “Throw-able! Shining Finger Cushion” – a playful nod to Domon Kasshu’s ultimate move from G Gundam
