Indoors it might be winter in Hokkaido all year long, but this December Snow Miku is heading to Tokyo’s biggest otaku festival. “Snow Miku Sky Town,” the shop-and-museum dedicated to Snow Miku (Hatsune Miku’s Hokkaido cousin) at New Chitose Airport, will open its first ever pop-up booth at Comic Market 107, the 50th anniversary Comiket taking place at Tokyo Big Sight on December 30–31, 2025.

Snow Miku Sky Town Brings Hokkaido Vibes to Comiket 107

Normally, Snow Miku Sky Town is a permanent shop and mini-museum on the fourth floor of New Chitose Airport, packed with exclusive goods, exhibits and even a life-size Snow Miku figure. For Comiket 107, it becomes “Snow Miku Sky Town Pop-Up at Comic Market 107,” bringing that Hokkaido-flavored space—and its airport-only feeling—into the heart of Tokyo’s doujin culture for two days. It’s a crossover between a regional character hub and the world’s largest self-published manga event.

CELEBRATION! Artwork Marks Fifty Years of Comic Market

To match Comiket’s fiftieth year, the pop-up runs a special project titled “CELEBRATION!”, with Snow Miku and Hatsune Miku literally joining the party. Newly drawn visuals by illustrators active in Japan and overseas will be turned into limited-edition goods for the booth. The key visual features Miku and Snow Miku celebrating the anniversary, and more items using collaboration artwork are planned, with full product details to be revealed closer to the event.

Four Snow Miku Collaborators and Their Character Concepts

The project lines up four different takes on Miku and Snow Miku. Yufu draws Hatsune Miku under a pure “celebration” concept, with delicate line work and vivid color that fans might recognize from anime character design projects. Ozaki Domino handles a “shopping” themed Snow Miku, leaning into cute animal motifs and dreamy city vibes. Matcha brings a “matcha” concept Snow Miku, riffing on sweets and witchy motifs familiar from their doujin art books. Finally, Yumenouchi contributes small, popping chibi-style characters, a style known from instructional books and art collections. Together, they create a line-up that feels like a mini festival of Snow Miku aesthetics.

Finding the Snow Miku Sky Town Booth at C107

Comic Market 107 is scheduled for December 30–31, 2025 at Tokyo Big Sight, marking the official 50th anniversary of the event. The Snow Miku Sky Town pop-up will be located at booth 2342 in South Hall 3, under the name “雪ミク スカイタウン出張所 in コミックマーケット107.” International visitors should remember that Comiket now uses advance tickets and wristbands for entry, so it is best to check the official Comic Market site and international information pages before you go.

Miku Fans Joining the 50th Year of Doujin Culture

For overseas Hatsune Miku fans, this pop-up is a rare chance to experience Snow Miku Sky Town without flying all the way to Hokkaido—while also diving straight into Comiket’s legendary doujin scene in its fiftieth year. You can browse limited goods based on brand-new visuals, pick up anniversary items, and celebrate the long-running connection between Miku, fan creators and Japanese pop culture.
