The Quintessential Quintuplets (＊) Animate Fair runs from Jan 17 to Feb 1, 2026 across select Animate stores and the Animate Online Shop. With brand-new “Shortcake Coord” illustrations, Animate-exclusive hologram badges, and tiered bonuses, here’s how to join in store or online.
Dates, participating stores, and how to join online
Plan for Jan 17 (Sat) – Feb 1 (Sun), 2026. Participating stores include Ikebukuro Main, Sendai, Sapporo, Nagoya, Niigata, Akihabara, Fukuoka PARCO, Hiroshima, Osaka Nipponbashi, Yokohama Vivre, Umeda, and the Animate Online Shop. Preorders begin Oct 23.
What’s debuting and what’s exclusive to Animate
The fair debuts the Shortcake Coord illustrations. Animate-exclusive Trading Hologram Can Badges (10 types) are available here (BOX purchase includes a special bonus). Fair-first items include trading acrylic cards/stands (10 each), instant-camera style sets, BIG and extra-large acrylic stands, A3 matte posters (6), A5 acrylic panels (6), B8 hard cases (5), and alt lines such as Aloha Shirt, Starry Maid, and Costume Swap vol.2. Trading items are blind; an unopened BOX completes the set.
Buying rules, BOX bonuses, and fair photo-print rewards
For the Animate-exclusive hologram badges, a BOX purchase grants an exclusive 75mm hologram badge (group design) while supplies last. Throughout the fair, every ¥1,100 (tax in) spent on eligible Quintuplets goods earns one random bromide from six designs.
Store etiquette, crowd control, and quick pointers for travelers
Entry may be restricted during peak hours. Inside the store, please avoid trading or cash deals, do not spread items on the floor, and do not meet up in aisles. Bring cash or a major card, and consider visiting early on weekends. If you can’t attend, use the Animate Online Shop preorder window.
