Five years after its first volume hit shelves, Tensei Shoujo wa Mazu Ippo kara Hajimetai: Mamono ga Iru Toka Kiitenai!(転生少女はまず一歩からはじめたい ~魔物がいるとか聞いてない!~) is taking its final bow with volume 10. To celebrate, MF Books and KADOKAWA are rolling out a packed finale: a buyer-only bonus site with new short fiction and manga, a first-print bookmark for physical readers, an Amazon.co.jp–exclusive digital edition with extra story content, and an ebook sale that makes catching up on volumes 1–9 much cheaper for newcomers.
Final volume 10 brings Tensei Shoujo wa Mazu Ippo kara Hajimetai to a close
Written by Kaya with illustrations by Naru, this isekai slow-life series started in September 2020 and has walked readers through Sarah’s journey step by step. Volume 10, released on November 25, 2025, marks the official finale for the MF Books light novel line.
The story follows Sarah, a girl transported to another world who ends up working as an apothecary in the royal capital. In this last volume, news from old companions pulls her back toward the town of Rosa and the ominous Magic Mountain where everything began.
Sarah’s last journey back to Rosa and the Magic Mountain
After reuniting with fellow “summoned person” Bradley, Sarah hears worrying rumors about Rosa, the nearby mountain, and the people connected to them. She then meets healer friends Nelly and Chris again, learning that Rosa’s apothecary guild wants Chris back as guildmaster. Though he has no intention of returning to that post, concern for his former disciple Ted—now Rosa’s mayor—pushes him toward one last trip.
Sarah decides to go with them, joined by Allen and Kuntz, only to face a serious problem when she sets foot once more on the land where her adventure began. For long-time readers, it’s a homecoming arc that ties together family, work, and the “monsters no one told her about” from the very start.

Bonus stories, manga, and a limited-time celebration site for buyers
To thank fans, KADOKAWA has opened a special bonus page accessible only to buyers of volume 10. It includes a new short story by Kaya titled “Ma no Yama de Deeto(魔の山でデート)”, showing a slice of life after the main story, plus a new manga by Ayumu Okamura that revisits the days when Sarah was still terrified of nearby monsters.
Access is granted via a QR code or URL printed on the bookmark for the physical edition, or in the back of the ebook. The page is available until November 24, 2026, 23:59 JST, and the content is view-only—no downloads are provided, and availability may end early due to unforeseen circumstances.
Print bookmark perks and the Amazon exclusive digital edition
If you grab the print edition of volume 10 early, you’ll find a special bookmark sealed into the first-print run. The back side holds a QR code and URL linking directly to the celebration page, making it easy to jump into the bonus stories on your phone.
On the digital side, Amazon.co.jp is offering an exclusive “electronic special edition” that adds another new short story, “Hunter ni Naranai ka(ハンターにならないか)”, at the end of the ebook. This Amazon version also includes the link to the same bonus page. For international readers already using Kindle Japan, this is a convenient way to secure all the extra text in a single purchase.
Ebook sale for catching up on volumes 1 through 9
Alongside the finale, MF Books is running a female protagonist ebook fair featuring this series. For a limited time, volume 1 of Tensei Shoujo wa Mazu Ippo kara Hajimetai is discounted to ¥110 (tax in), while volumes 2–9 are 50% off the usual price at major ebook stores.
The fair runs from November 25 to December 8, 2025, giving new readers a chance to follow Sarah’s entire journey before picking up volume 10. For more details, you can check the official MF Books pages here: volume 10 detail page and the series hub here: Tensei Shoujo wa Mazu Ippo kara Hajimetai portal.
Choosing your edition and enjoying the finale in your style
If you’ve been collecting the series in print, going for the first-print physical volume 10 keeps your shelf consistent and adds a bookmark you can actually use while you read. Ebook readers who prefer Kindle and want everything in one file may lean toward the Amazon-exclusive special edition for the extra short story and easy access to the bonus site. Budget-focused newcomers can start with the discounted digital volumes during the MF Books fair and decide later whether to upgrade their favorite arcs to physical copies.
However you read it, this finale is built to feel like a small celebration with Sarah—one last step on a long, slow-life road. Whether you’ve walked with her since volume 1 or you’re just now meeting her at the foot of the Magic Mountain, this is a good moment to choose the format that fits your reading life best and enjoy the journey at your own pace. 🌄
